Our Story
A studio built on green optimism.
We are a small independent team working out of a sunlit warehouse on Coventry Street. Talunexor started as a game-jam prototype and grew into a full solarpunk world about the cities we hope to live in.
- 2021
A weekend prototype
Three friends built the first "solar tile" mechanic at a Melbourne game jam. It won the community favourite award and never left our heads.
- 2022
The Southbank studio opens
We moved into our Coventry Street loft, grew to eight people, and spent a year designing the cooperative economy that powers every Talunexor city.
- 2024
Early access launch
Talunexor reached players in over 40 countries. Community-designed districts started shaping our roadmap within the first month.
- 2026
Living Seasons update
Dynamic weather, migrating wildlife, and shared festival events arrive — the biggest content drop in the studio’s history.

Up to four players share one persistent city. Everyone can build, zone, and reroute power at the same time, and an undo-friendly history means nobody ever loses hours of work to a mistake.
Route sunlight through canopies, batteries, and rooftop panels. Shadows, seasons, and cloud cover all matter, so smart placement keeps your trams and greenhouses humming after dark.
There is no money to hoard — you trade in compost, water, and goodwill. Districts thrive when neighbours share surplus, encouraging generous, long-term planning instead of extraction.
Plant native corridors and watch bees, quolls, and rosellas return. A healthy ecosystem unlocks new crops and passive bonuses, tying beauty directly to gameplay.
Switch to an unlimited sandbox, then publish blueprints to friends. Import a neighbour’s district into your own city with one click and remix it however you like.
